GYSA Uniform Night – June 8th!
GYSA Uniform Night is Wednesday June 8th from 4:00 – 8:00 at Shaw Gym
at the Gorham Municipal Center. First year players in the club should bring a copy
of their birth certificate. First year players’ uniforms are paid for by the club.
Uniform Night – Cost of Uniform Replacements
All players may order uniform replacements at a cost of $40 for the full kit, $16
for each jersey (maroon and gray), $6 for shorts and $3 for socks. Optional GYSA
jackets ($60) and backpacks ($28) may also be ordered. All payments must be by
check, credit cards are not accepted at Uniform Night.
Travel Soccer Commitment:
The season starts the 1st week of August with games starting the last weekend in August. A typical week would include two practices during the week and games on Saturday, Sunday, or both days. All players are expected to attend all practices and games. The season ends in late October or early November. The Gorham Travel Soccer program has helped to develop outstanding varsity and college soccer players. However, travel soccer requires a fairly heavy time and physical commitment for the players and their parents. We have exceptional municipal recreation programs and school programs for those who do not want the extra commitment.
